Manny's family is a family of a multiple species of phrestoric animals and the main protagonists of the Ice Age franchise.
After losing his wife and his child when they were killed by humans, Manny didn't want to have any relationship or bond with anyone else becoming grumpy and mean but when he met a talkative ground sloth named Sid and a proud sabertooth tiger named Diego he found another family in his two new friends. One year later they would find a female mammoth named Ellie and her adoptive brothers, the two pranksters Opossums Crash and Eddie. After Ellie and Manny fell in love with each other the trio became part of the family too. Three years later Ellie got pregnant and had a child that they called Peaches that would become part of the family while Buck, a one-eyed crazy and adventurous weasel that helped them to rescue Sid, would become an honorary member of the family after he decided to remain in the Dinosaur World. Years later Granny, Sid's grandmother, would join the family while a female white sabertooth tiger named Shira would join the family too after falling in love with Diego.
