Trivia[]
- It's the first Ice Age film produced by Bardel Entertainment.
- This is the first time that Scrat and Peaches don't appear in the film. Scrat doesn't appear due to the fact that he's still stuck in space but he's seen in a drawing in Buck's den as an Easter Egg while Peaches moved out with Julian to start a family of their own.
- This is the first Ice Age media to not be produced by Blue Sky Studios due to being shut down on April 2021.
- This would also mark the first Ice Age production to be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
- It was released for the 20th anniversary of the first Ice Age film.
- Simon Pegg later mocked the film while making and during his appearance at the 75th British Academy Film Awards. the actor gave a speech where he advised not to laugh while talking about terrible disaster movies after discussing Don't Look Up saying: "So best to avoid laughing while avoiding terrible disaster movies. If you want to do that, I can recommend a terrible disaster animated film that I voiced and starred in and is on Disney+ it called The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. Please don't watch this film in my country. You should probably avoid that movie."
